I’m scared to hold your hand
To let you lead me into the darkness
Im scared of not knowing what might happen if i follow you
Of course my mind tells me to stay in the light
But everything else is curious to know what the other side is like.
I’m afraid of losing myself in your eyes
Starting a new beginning that ends in a quick demise
With a whole new perspective to live by
But….
Maybe a new beginning is just what i deserve
A new beginning can give me new lessons to learn
New memories to keep and old ones to burn.
